Our Favorite Weddings
Over the years, we’ve filmed dozens of weddings. This number has included indoor weddings, outdoor weddings, church weddings, rehearsals, wedding ceremonies, receptions and parties. We typically work close to home, near Fredericksburg, Virginia, but have also traveled regionally and internationally. Check out some of our favorites, below, for a sample of the work that we do!
Denise & Erick
We filmed and produced this highlight video for this beautiful couple on of their big day. The wedding was filmed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and the reception was held at the Old Silk Mill in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Both of these locations were fantastic to work in. We had three videographers on site, as well as a fourth operator to run a live broadcast. We used wireless mics to capture high-quality audio, which you can hear at key points in the video. Aerial photography added to dramatic effects during transitions in the day. We loved shooting this wedding for Erick and Denise!
Cassidy & Aidan
It’s a real privilege to work with amazing couples and their families, and Cassidy and Aidan were no exception! We produced this nearly six-minute highlight video for their summer outdoor wedding in the Appalachian mountains. We had four videographers on site, used wireless mics to capture high-quality audio, and used a good mix of aerial videography and on-the-ground footage. This was a phenomenal couple and a tremendous day in a beautiful location!
Courtney & Andrew
This absolutely wonderful couple invited us to film their beautiful outdoor wedding at Morais Vinyard, near Culpepper, Virgina and Washington, DC. We had three videographers on site for the big day. The varying outdoor and indoor lighting conditions were a factor that would challenge even the best videographers, and we managed this challenge easily for the couple. In addition to the highlight video, we also produced a 35-minute wedding feature film. It was an awesome day with some of the best people we’ve ever had the opportunity to work with!
Lauren & Donnie
This beautiful couple had their wedding at a charming little church in Northern Virginia. Prior to the ceremony, Atlantic Wedding Video had crews in two locations to work simultaneously and create a story of converging events. We coordinated closely with the event planner throughout and when the bride arrived, it was incredible! We provided pro audio and three camera angles during the ceremony, and finished the day with footage and interviews at the reception to round out the story. The full wedding feature film really captured the celebration and excitement around this momentous event!
Sophie & Isaac
This beautiful young couple had their wedding at the phenomenal Mankin Mansion in Richmond, Virginia. We provided four videographers, pro audio, and aerial videography. Since the location is close to an airport, we prepared by getting special clearance ahead of time to fly our cameras in the area. Our team captured a wide array of indoor and outdoor shots, navigating rain and variable lighting conditions. The evening culminated in fireworks outside and the couple making a grand exit to celebrate on their honeymoon. We captured bride and groom preparations (including interviews) on the day of the wedding, the bride’s first look, the full wedding ceremony, and the reception after, including additional interviews with guests and relatives. Our deliverables included a long feature film over one hour, a short feature film, a highlight reel, and a variety of edited reels for social media.
Lauren & Timmy
This wonderful couple celebrated their outdoor summer wedding on the family’s private property on the Rappahannock River. Our team provided three videographers, pro audio, and aerial videography. We captured the full three acts: preparations, ceremony, and reception. Our videographers gave particular attention to interviews, the people, candid moments, and the scenic beauty of the location. We delivered a full wedding feature film, a highlight reel, and a social media package. We loved working with this couple and it was a real privilege to be there for their once-in-a-lifetime event!
